Summer is finally here and it’s time to finally get some sun at the beach or have a picnic at the park for sure, but it’s also time to start planning for that new kitchen if it is going to get done this year. It takes between two and three months to do all the pre-construction planning and design which also includes all the material selections and cost analysis. Don’t forget about permits, financing and ordering all the components. Permits can take up to 6 weeks and the construction might take as long as 10 weeks for an average size kitchen. If we start the planning and design work in July or August we can begin construction in September or October and finish up before Christmas.
